How to move emails to Local folder to save server space

Moving your emails from the IMAP server to create more space, but without deleting your emails
Select "New Folder" and give it a name eg Old Emails.
Click "Create Folder."
Select Emails:
Navigate to the mailbox containing the emails you want to move.
Select the emails
Move Emails:
Either drag the emails to the newly created folder orr ight-click on the selected emails.
Choose "Move To" and select the newly created local folder.
These emails are now stored on the PC or laptop and not on the server. They won't be available to other clients, e.g. if you have the same emial account on your phone too, you won't be able to see these emails there.
A similar method is available for Outlook too.

Right-click on "Local Folders."Select "New Folder" and give it a name eg Old Emails.
